DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AWARDS

The committee judges this award based on how a state or school chapter has raised the awareness of its disaster plans, or developed plans for individual, school, and community responses. Projects can highlight education presentations, development of school or community awareness projects, or disaster-kit preparation. **Bonus points are awarded to NSNA members participating in the submitted project who have completed three or more of the NIMS Certification Courses recognized by NSNA in 2023-2024 (see Population and Global Health Guidelines Booklet for a listing and links to those courses). Note: Copies of the NIMS Certificates must be attached to the application. Awards and Prizes:
